Gôl Cymru visited the Astrid Lindgren Children’s Hospital in Stockholm this morning and donated £750 to help the hospital purchase equipment for its new Sensory Room at the Play Centre. Neil Dymock was shown around the hospital by therapists Tobias and Lena and two year-old Edda is seen practicing in the hospital giving injections to the lion used to prepare children for injections.
Neil said after the visit, “All the children I met today had watched the Sweden v Wales game yesterday and liked Wales. They all said they would be watching on Saturday and hoped that Wales would beat Slovakia. All their favourite players were Zlatan and Bale!”

Many thanks to everyone who made yesterday’s Euro 2016 tournament at Lucozade Powerleague Cardiff a success, especially Game On Wales for their help in organising, our sponsors 10 Feet Tall and all those who provided gifts for the raffle, Spirit of ’58 – Welsh Football T-Shirts/Merchandise, Edwards Coaches, CBFitness, Sports Xtra (Head Office), St David’s Press. Through your kindness we have raised more than £900 for underpirvileged and sick children.
Congratulations to Sporting Hamzah who beat Evan’s Belters (both pictured) in the final. The signed Wales shirt was won by Frances Foot and the signed Cardiff City ball by Jim Davis.
